Meet Our Team

Eric Harless

Principal/Teacher

Mr. Harless has over 20 years experience in education and ministry in Illinois, Missouri, Oregon, Arizona, and now Texas. Mr. Harless served in pastoral ministry in Missouri for three years and in Oregon for 15 years, 13 of those years as a lead pastor. Mr. Harless’ work in Christian Education began in 2009 in Oregon and he eventually became the head of the Bible department before accepting a position as Spiritual Life Director in Tucson, AZ where he worked until accepting the principal’s position at Elim Christian School. Mr. Harless has been married to his wife Mindi for 25+ years and they have three daughters.

Jackie Gibbs

Teacher

Mrs. Gibbs left a successful career in Human Resources to follow her passion to teach and has been teaching since 2009. She loves running, assisting in coaching basketball, singing, tutoring, playing the drums and learning the electric guitar, drawing and crafts, gardening, sports, genealogy, cooking, volunteering, being outside, shopping and playing with her two daughters and of course reading. A proud native of Houstonian, she is married and has a daughter in High Scholl and another who is a nurse. Mrs. Gibbs also watches over the Gibbs’ zoo which includes dogs named Stugis and Adele, two parakeets and a rabbit named Tater Tot.

Sharon Shea

Teacher

Ms. Shea has 35 years in Education teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade, and as a homeschool tutor, including 13 years in Christian Education. She enjoys singing in her church’s choir, ringing in the bell choir, and playing in the orchestra.

Gayle Bellomy

Teacher

Gayle Bellomy has a BS and MEd in Educational Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University.  Currently, she has six state certifications, including Special Education K-12 and Secondary Reading. Teacher, diagnostician, instructional specialist, and administrator are on her resume, but teaching is by far her favorite position. This will be her 46th year in education and she, along with her husband, are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2022. She loves playing baritone sax in a local jazz band, traveling anywhere/anytime, and AGGIE FOOTBALL!

Catherine Wright

Teacher

Catherine Wright has a degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Texas with a specialization in Earth Science. She has spent most of her teaching career in Frisco, Texas where she taught science, wrote curriculum for the district, presented workshops, was a science department chair and instructional coach. She has spent the last few years here in the Houston area working for Katy ISD being a science teacher as well as working as a high school testing coordinator for Lamar CISD. Catherine also has experience in the medical field as an Ultrasound Technologist. Catherine enjoys spending time helping coach her daughter’s soccer team as well as playing with her corgi.
