Dianne Hornor

Principal & Teacher

Mrs. Hornor has 32 years experience as a teacher in 3 countries and 5 schools, Learning Center Coordinator, and School Consultant for educational programs. Mrs. Hornor is a wife to her husband of 30+ years, and together they have three grown children, who she home schooled while they lived overseas, and three grandchildren.

Jackie Gibbs


Mrs. Gibbs left a successful career in Human Resources to follow her passion to teach and has been teaching since 2009. She loves running, assisting in coaching basketball, singing, tutoring, playing the drums and learning the electric guitar, drawing and crafts, gardening, sports, genealogy, cooking, volunteering, being outside, shopping and playing with her two daughters and of course reading. A proud native of Houstonian, she is married and has two daughters (in middle school and college) and watches over the Gibbs’ zoo – two dogs, one bunny, one guinea pig and a fish.

Sharon Shea


Ms. Shea has 29 years in Education teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade, and as a homeschool tutor, including 8 years in Christian Education. She enjoys singing in her church’s choir, ringing in the bell choir, and playing in the orchestra.

Catherine Wright


Mrs. Wright is passionate about teaching Science and Project-Based Learning. She has almost 20 years of experience in education and has served as a teacher, instructional coach, department chair, and testing coordinator. Catherine is married and has one daughter, who attends Elim.

Karen Hurst

Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Hurst is married and has three children, the youngest of whom is a student at Elim Christian School. She has been serving as a volunteer at the school since its inception, including as a member of the Board. She also serves on the staff as a part-time administrative assistant.
